Hi Lawyers Appreciate if you can answer me. Mine I94 has a different visa validity then my passport. It has an extra year of validity. I am on E3 visa. My wife is applying for dependent visa in 2 weeks so wondering if it’s going to create any question or result in visa denial. Thanks Prady

Hi Prady, can you clarify some things? 1) Your I-94 has an extra year of validity than the D/S stamp in your passport? 2) Or your I-94 has an extra year of validity than your passport itself? Overall in general it seems like there is some mistake with the online I-94, would probably be a good idea to contact CBP about the electronic I-94 error, so they can fix it. Hope this was helpful.

Your statement is confusing. Which one has the extra year? Talk to an attorney before your wife goes into the Consulate.
