Can I get custody of my granddaughters if they have been taken in by CPS if I had a CPS case 10 years ago and no child crimes.?

I have absolutely no child molestatio or any crimes involving children. I went to prison for 1 year in 2013 for cashing bad checks but have not been to jail or in trouble since. I’m a single grand mother and CPS placed my granddaughters with me back in 2019 and again Jan 2021. They were removed from my home in March because I could not get licensed for kinship foster parenting and placed with a family that does not speak English well. They were in a safe environment with their own room and now with a foster family, who I feel are being careless with my granddaughters. CPS does not return phone calls and the foster family is very rude. Will explain more later. I feel my granddaughters are being neglected in the system, have proof.
Please help and advise

You had custody of your granddaughters but could not meet the terms required by the system to keep them. Your only hope now is to hire an attorney to represent your interests, and work with the CHILDREN'S attorney to see if you can qualify for guardianship or find a way to qualify for kinship foster parenting despite your record. Find out when the next court date is, and make sure you attend.
