I had a medical bill for my minor dependent which occured in 2009 and was included in my Ch7 discharge. My minor is now 18. Is she responsible for this debt? Can they send her bills and collection agency notices? Should we respond?

The minor is responsible for the debt. Your bankruptcy discharged your liability. It had no impact on the debt for necessities which the hospital can collect against the now adult patient.

You have no liability because of the discharge. Your now-adult child MAY be responsible depending on the law of your state. Minors cannot contract for most things. Therefore, it is possible that no one is responsible. She should fight any attempt to sue her or collect against her.
