How long do I need to go to co parenting counseling??

My ex and I agreed to go to co-parenting counseling in mediation. In court we agreed to a counselor she wanted, because she also offered to pay for it. the orders state 2 different things on this. I want to know how long I am supposed to go to counseling for, since it really doesnt specify??? Line 14 of order says- "The parents shall participate in co-parent counseling with a therapist they mutually agree upon. The parents shall enroll in counseling within 30 days of this order and follow the therapist's reccomendations regarding treatment" On an addition line made in court says- "3.The parties agree to attend co-parenting counseling classes with Jamie Miller at Bridges. Mother agrees to pay for the co-parenting classes." WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? JUST HAD OUR 5th SESSION. Thanks!

Based solely on the provisions that you have stated, that order is pretty clear: (1) You go to counseling with Jamie Miller at Bridges, who you agreed to see. (2) You start within 30 days of the order. (3) She pays for the classes. (4) You keep going as long as Jamie Miller recommends. So keep going, take it seriously, and try to make real progress in your communication and co-parenting skills. It sounds like you are not paying for these sessions, so take advantage of the free opportunity to improve yourself.
