My driving privilegesare suspended in a state i dont reside in and i was never actually charged with a DUI?

This was in 2010. I was enlisted in the army at the time. Ft. Riley ks. I drove on post and was held on post for drinking and driving overnight. Was let go the next morning with no charges or anything. However the MP that took my MD license already sent it back to the mva as if i was getting charged with a dui. (Like i said, a dui charge let alone any charge never happened) so now Kansas has had my license suspended since 2010. I reside in MD and cant get my license because of this Kansas dmv thinking i have a dui from 2010. They are saying i need an interlock device put in my car for a year. We only have 1 vehicle and my wife drives it. On MD mva side there is nothing stopping me from getting my license, except this hold that Kansas has on my driving privileges.
