for 10 + yrs I have been the primary parent, and the children live with me. there has never been a parenting plan. I (Pro Se) have motioned the court to establish a parenting plan, and want to use recorded calls, at trial as they clearly show the abuse & neglect they are receiving, during overnight visits, every other weekend at the mothers home.

It sounds like you recorded things your children said during phone calls to you while they were at their Mother's? Your children's statements are most likely hear say and there's a high chance that the court would find things you said during the calls to be damaging to the children.

You would be better off asking the Court to appoint a Guardian ad Litem to investigate what is in the children's best interest. The GAL can then listen to the recordings if he or she thinks it appropriate.
