Can a person have an ongoing Workers' Comp case and, at the same time commit perjury in another persons Workers' Comp case..?

Two employees filed a claim for Workers' Compensation benefits re injuries stemming from work. The 1st employee case is still ongoing and had nothing to do with the 2nd employee. Years later, the 1st employee injures the 2nd employee and also falsely accuses that employee of sexual harassment. The 2nd employee who was accused of sexual harassment then filed their own Workers' Compensation claim due to the severity of the injury and later took the case all the way to trial. At trial the 1st employee who caused the injury also commits direct perjury re their sworn testimony.

Legally, a person is not allowed to commit perjury.

Perjury is a criminal offense, although it is rarely prosecuted by district attorneys, city attorneys, or U. S. attorneys. It is a credibility questin if raised in the other case, or it may be ruled by the trier of fact not relevant.
