What happens when the court sends me a court date but for the wrong charge?
Was arrested for domestic violence. But on the court summons is the wrong charge owi. Shouldn't it b thrown out

It could be a mistake or another case you didn’t know about. One way or the other, you will need to resolve the case you were arrested for.

You need an attorney, a domestic violence conviction has life long ramifications (you lose you firmarms rights under federal law). As of the Court's error, they will correct it eventually and if you ignore the summons because of the error you are putting yourself at additional risk, LAWYER UP!
