Dear attorneys/ lawyers. Last week he used Hyland ear drops with instruction 3-4 drops, 4 times per day. My husband only used 2 drops and 2 times per date. Even though he used less than instructions but his ear get worse, get infection, it’s Saturday Sunday so he couldn’t go to ENT, then perforated eardrum causing his hearing decreased a lot. Please help advise the case! Thank you very much.

Eardrops such as you describe are for EXTERNAL ear issues (like swimmers ear). If your husband had INTERNAL ear issues the drops would be useless and the use was not for the purpose intended. No better than putting mayonnaise in his ear. See a doctor next time BEFORE attempting to diagnose and treat a painful issue. No case on the facts described.

Doubtful. The doctor would have to state that the diagnosis was caused by using the drops which sounds far fetced.I do not see a case and the damages are not catastrophic thankfully.

We are attorneys, not physicians. Let alone ear nose and throat specialists. Let alone ENTs who have examined your husband and the related facts. Also, we are not chemists or otherwise specialists in analyzing the content of chemicals. Let alone specialists who have examined the actual bottle of ear drops your husband used. When/if your husband gets a written report from those people supporting such an allegation that the ear drops caused his damages, THEN talk to an attorney.

This is more of a products liability/personal injury type matter vs social security disability. I changed the question topic to get you in touch with the appropriate attorneys with which to consult.
