My cousin's wife has been cheating on him since Feb 2021, she got pregnant by this guy and is only, i'm guessing, around 4-5mths pregnant. She filed for Seperation recently, and trying to get child support for the 2 kids her and my cousin share. Can you even file legal seperation in Texas while pregnant with someone elses child?
There is no “legal separation “ in Texas, but as said above you can file for divorce while pregnant, get temporary orders for child support, and finalize the divorce after the baby is born. Whether or not wife cheated on husband has no bearing on child support of the children she has with husband. He is still responsible for support of his children.
You can file for divorce while your pregnant and get temporary orders. You can not get divorced until after the baby is born. DNA will need to be done and the father of the baby will have to be determined
