Done all my probation terms for the state of georgia, the DUI classes, community service, alcohol evaluations etc. Now what? I live back in Florida. When I go to the DMV's website and check my license it says it's still valid with no restrictions.
If you had a Florida license when you were charged with DUI in Georgia, and if upon conviction your driving privilege in Georgia was suspended or revoked as a result of this charge, then the Georgia authorities would notify the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles which has the legal authority under Section 322.24, Florida Statutes, to revoke your license as if you has committed the DUI in Florida. If this is a first offense, then Florida would revoke you license for at least six months; if it is a second offense, your license would be revoked for five years. There may have been some delay or error in the Georgia authority notifying Florida DHSMV which would explain why your license remains valid. You need to be cautious about relying on information from the DHSMV website; if you are wrong in believing your license is not revoked in Florida, you could be charged with the misdemeanor of driving with a revoked license with knowledge of the revocation, and the traffic judge would probably take a dim view of your explanation. Get a formal print-out of your record from the DHSMV and consult with a criminal defense lawyer before you get behind the wheel again, or you will be taking a big risk.

You need an DUI Lawyer in Florida to call a Georgia DWI attorney to figure out the options. As you're likely quickly learning, it's COMPLICATED.
Frankly, given the complexity of the question, you would benefit greatly by consulting with an attorney.
Best of luck to you.

I think you are saying you are a FL resident with a FL DL who got a DUI in GA. If you checked on the FLDHSMV in Tallahassee and your FL driver's license is valid, I don't see why you think your FL DL is suspended. . . .If you were a GA resident with a GA DL and you completed everything in GA, I'm pretty sure that GA does not share driver's license information with FL. MOST states do, but I don't think GA does, nor Michigan, and maybe Indiana. Most states DO share information, so if I go to NY and get a speeding ticket with my FL DL, then FL will find out about it.
Unless you get a letter from DMV stating your license is suspended and it shows valid on the web site, it is not suspended. However, Florida periodically checks when you renew your license or go to change residences... to see if there are any abnormilties with other states. It could pop up at a later time. If you get a suspension notice at a later date, consult a local attorney. Good luck.
