I suffered a skull fracture 2 years ago - Do I have grounds for a lawsuit?

Bankruptcy and Debt 3 views 4 answers
Accident occurred at a fitness club - caused by a fall backwards. Injuries include Occipital fracture, hearing loss in one ear - 77% vestibular loss in same ear. Complete loss of smell - hence loss of most taste also. Ear surgery to try to correct chronic spinning vertigo - did not work, still have vertigo daily - if not drop to the ground spinning, then constant nausea. It's been almost 2 years, and now I am worried about my future. I don't even know if I have what could be called a legitimate lawsuit. My initial thought was not to seek litigation, but as time passes, and there is little to no improvement, and my life is forever compromised, my feelings on this issue are changing. Any insight that could be provided would be appreciated.

You need to see a personal injury attorney as soon as possible given the age of your claim. You can find one by searching attorneyqna.com in you local area. Most personal injury attorneys will provide you with a free consultation and if they think your case has merit (sounds like it may) will represent you on a contingency basis. If you do have a claim, their efforts will more than pay for their services. This is not legal advice and is not intended to create an attorney-client relationship. You should speak to an attorney for further information.

You need to hire an attorney first thing Monday morning. Most states have a statute of limitations that only lasts 2-years from the date of the accident for injury cases such as yours. If you fail to file before that date, your right to sue is lost forever. Hire a lawyer now!
