I received a right to sue letter from EEOC for a wrongful termination, my question is; do I need to sent a "letter of intent to sue" before I file my case with the court, or can I file to the court without sending a letter of intent to sue? Please help!!

You can go ahead and sue. Good luck to you.

Your best bet is to bring the letter to an attorney, and discuss your facts with him/her. Employment cases are very fact-intensive, and no two cases are the same. You would benefit from letting someone with experience handling these matters draft and file the complaint for you.

Your question does not give enough information to answer. If you are a federal or state worker, you might be required to file a notice of intent. BEST ADVICE: don't do anything without an experienced employment lawyer advising you since a mistake in the beginning can ruin your chances of winning down the line.If you need help finding the right person, take a look at this website: http://www.nela.org/home.cfm This is the National Employment Lawyers Association, and you can search for a lawyer close to your zip code. Good luck. Sincerely, Robert Shapiro
