Can i file for H1B extension without an certified LCA?

hi , my I94 is expiring on 10th Oct. i am waiting for my certified LCA from DOL. LCA was filed at DOL on 3 Oct. meantime as i am nearing the I94 expiry date, can i apply for extension and then submit my LCA on receiving it?

Your employer waited too long to file the LCA. You should depart the U.S. no later than Oct. 10. If your employer files the H-1B petition without a certified LCA, that petition will be rejected and you'll be out of status.
