My 15 year old daughter has a 8 month baby and she had a child support hearin and was told that the babies father does not have to pay any support. She is her babies sole provider the father has not helped in any way.

A 17 year old is not an adult in Florida and cannot be made to pay child support. This changes once he turns 18 years of age. Good luck.

The baby's father has a right to be supported by his own parents, not support children of his own. When the baby's daddy turns 18 or graduates from high school, he can be required to pay child support.
