How do you draft a contract for lending a car?

I have a question concerning transferring a car title to a friend of mind. I have a friend who has recently moved from Nevada on a work visa. Her visa is valid for a year and a half, and she requires a car for work. As a favor, I offered her to borrow my car for the duration of her stay once she acquires a Nevada State Drivers License. However, I am Washington State resident, and my car is registered in Washington State. I was curious if there is a legal contract form I could draft that would temporarily allow ownership of the car title, or have her simply borrow the car for monthly payments? This way she could purchase her own car insurance and I would not be liable if an accident occured. Where could I find examples of such legal documents and how could I make one legally binding?

You would be a car renter (like Avis, Hertz etc...) and you could use a form like they use which is a whole legal page with lots of fine print. At any rate, as permanent car title holder, you may still find that your insurance and your assets are at risk under the arrangement you suggest? Without clearance from your insurer in advance, I would suggest you rethink this rental arrangement. Good luck.
