If you were lawfully admitted to the U.S. under an F1 visa and have married a U.S. citizen, you might be eligible for adjustment of status to that of permanent resident. However, you should contact an attorney to help you determine your eligibility. The marriage alone does not confer the status. USCIS must determine that you are otherwise admissible prior to granting your case. Usually, all the forms and supporting evidence can be submitted together. It is important to submit all required documents/evidence in your initial filing. Otherwise USCIS will issue a Request for Evidence and stop processing your case until after they receive the response.
