The mother can sponsor her daughter to get a green card. If her daughter is under 21, the procedure is quick. If not, it takes years. You may be able to be a co-sponsor for the affidavit of support for the daughter. Please see

If the daughter is under the age of 18 and the mother is a US citizen, the mother does not need to work of file an affidavit of support. The daughter would automatically become a US citizen and instead of filing form I-864, she would file form I-864W. If daughter is over 18, then yes you can co-sponsor her. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney.

The mother can sponsor the daughter, the divorce is not a factor and she doesnt need the husband to sponsor. She should contact an immigration lawyer to discuss the case and assist in completing the forms and possibly explain the process. Goodluck.

I agree with my colleagues. You should retain an experienced immigration attorney to review the facts of your documenst before filing with USCIS for any errors or omissions.

The easy answer is yes if the daughter is 18 years old or younger. Consult with an immigration attorney prior to filing any paperwork.
