I was recently layed off in Jacksonville FL due to company closing and I will be paid a lump sum severance pay will i be elligible for unemployment

Yes. You must report the receipt of the lump sum severance pay to the Agency For Workforce Innovation when you claim your weeks. Your benefits may be offset until the money you received from the severance pay is depleted. You can read about your rights under Florida Statute 443.
