In 2008 i got a dui or minor driving under the influence my license was suspended for 3months, i ended up moving to california without doing the requirments from the court which resorted in a warrant. can i get my license in the state of california?
California will not issue you a license until you have cleared the warrant in WA. Under the Interstate Compact Act each state shares this information with one another. Get a attorney In WA and clear this up.

If the Washington DMV (or equivalent) has a hold on your license then you can not get a license in CA. Just because you have a warrant doen't mean there is a hold on your license. Call the Washinton DMV if there is a hold you will need to hire a WA attorney to clear it up there.
