The normal contingency fee is as follows: 331/3% on the first $500,000 recovered; 30% on the next $500,000 net recovered; 25% on the next $500,000 net recovered; and 20% on the next $500,000 recovered.
If the client is a minor, the fee is 25%. Good luck.

33% of the first $500,000.00. It goes down for higher amounts. An attorney may not charge higher.

1/3 for an adult and 25% for a minor, up to the first $500,000. I have heard of some attys negotiating for less, but not too often.
