my boyfriend is on pretrial house arrest and he has a job..every week his employer faxes his schedule over to his pretrial officer so that he can have time out for work...yesterday he went to work but apparently his time out wasnt put in for that day... the monitoring unit called the house asking for him and i explained to them that he was at work..they called his job which confirmed it and even faxed over the schedule ..we thought everything was fine but last night they still came and picked him up and said he had violated his house arrest,,,how long will it take for him to see a judge so that he will be released?

Generally you'll see a judge within 24 hours. Given that its a house arrest issue, he may have to wait 24 hours if the judge is backed up from the state holiday. Best of luck, Shannon K. McDonald

If he is on house arrest as a condition of bail he will not be given a hearing. A motion would need to be filed with the court to address this matter. If the house arrest was part of a sentence he received, he will see the judge in a couple weeks. John M Walsh, Esquire Law Office of John M Walsh 2101 Pine St Philadelphia, PA 19103 215-758-9200
