I am a permanent resident (green card holder) because my mother won the lottery green card, I have 22 years and plan to return to the United States. The problem is that 10 years ago that i do not travel to U.S. because my parents did not authorize me to leave my country of residence. What are the chances that my entry is rejected? if I explain that larger forces could not return to the U.S.

The border officer will most likely allege that you abandoned your residence if your extended absence is detected. You will be given the option to voluntarily relinquish your resident status or otherwise be served with a Notice to Appear in Immigration Court. If you chose the latter, you will be given an opportunity to present the reasons for your extended absence to an Immigration Judge. You must demonstrate that you always had the continuous intent to return to the U.S. and maintained ties with the country that demonstrate that you considered the U.S. as place where you wanted to reside permanently. Chances of success depend on the specific facts of your situation. You will need an attorney.
