I was going to my home. it was a two way road. To get to my apartment, had to take a left turn. But while doing so, I did not notice the car that was coming from the front. I almost hit him. Unfortunately, that car was a police car. He charged me with careless driving. What are the things that I have to do if i plead not guilty?

However, instead of posting additional information on this Board, I would suggest sitting down with a competent local attorney who can advise you of the consequences under local law. Confronting a police officer in a contested matter will be difficult, and local counsel can guide you.
