Do i need to pay matco for tools that got stolen

I was working for transport company in dallas but had to move back home. Now im back in dallas. An he goes by the same. job i work at. I would give them back but they got stolen an i dont think i should pay for something i dont have no more since they were stolen

If the tools were Matco's tools, then yes, you will have to pay for them. You also need to review any agreement you had with Matco regarding the tools to see if there are any exceptions. That said, you need to talk to Matoc and try to work something out. You may have some insurance coverage that could help pay for the tools, either home owners or auto, depending on where they were stolen from and the terms of the policies. Be sure and file a police report about the stolen tools.
