If a restraining order is unable to be served, what happens to the order.

The woman who has requested the order, filed 11 last year and has 4 out at the present.
I do know that the allegations are false. As nothing happend, just a few heated words and none threatening.
Thank you.
If the order is a temporary restraining order it has a specified termination date. If it is a permanent restraining order, it does not become enforceable until served.
I agree with Attorney Fink. If it is a temporary restraining order, it will have an expiration date. Any order is not enforceable unless and until it is served.
A little more information would be helpful. If the RO is against you, did you get served with a temporary order? Did you go to the hearing for the permanent restraining order? You said she had filed 11 last year? Were all of them granted? Who were they against? Pull the case files on each one and see if they were granted or not. If they weren't you may want to consider filing a motion to have her declared a "vexatious litigant".
