How long does it take to be served a 24 hour notice after a eviction summons

Not knowing when you were served one can only speculate as to then your response would be due. Figure a default a day or two after followed by a judgment then a Writ of Possession. The 24 hour notice will follow almost immediately. The question is how long after that will the sheriff come back? In Palm Beach County would be 3-5 days. In Broward 5-7 days. So, you may make it to July 11 but I would not count on it, so make plans by reaching out now to.homeless shelters and churches in your area.

If you don't move out immediately, return the keys, and voluntarily vacate, the eviction will continue until you do. In that case, all we can do is guess as to when the writ will issue. I would suggest that you retain a good local tenants lawyer to have him him or her negotiate your leaving. Hope this helps. gsg
