Can I get the fine for a red light camera ticket in Chicago reduced to the original amount?

I was fined $100 and the ticket was doubled after a while. Is there a way to get this reduced? I requested a hearing and was sent a "Notice of Final Determination" before the hearing was scheduled. I then received the fine increase to $200 when I did not pay on time. I cannot get another hearing anymore.
Just pay the fine An attorney will cost you more than that and your chances of winning a substantial reduction are slim. The longer you delay, the more it will cost you. Cut your losses.
Go into one of the hearing offices and ask, but my instinct tells me that once you have allowed the deadlines to pass, you will have to file suit and pay an appearance fee which is about the same amount as the ticket.Sincerely,
