Civil case for exposing personal information?

I just realized that a company I've been dealing with lately is exposing a lot of personal information including bank account numbers, net worth, and paperwork of private dealings with the company itself through their unsecured, publicly available website. The root directory allows browsing of thousands of documents containing the info I mentioned above (including my own). Is this a civil matter? If so, which type of attorney should I contact?

You may have a civil case, but it is hard to tell given the limited information. Do you have any contract with this company? Have you advised the company about the security problem?
