I got a dwi in 2009, and a second one while license was revoked in 2010. The second was a felony. And currently on Probation. I stopped drinking , i dont do drugs and have two boys. I have full time job and stay out of trouble, but i couldnt find a ride to get my step son today so stupidly decided to just go get him. I got pulled over for "loud" exhaust, i recieved unlicensed operation, fix it ticket for exhaust, driving without Interlock system, and failed to notify dmv of address change. I know I messed up but what should i do now and what am i looking at for the worst and least that could happened. The state trooper let me go after my friend showed up to drive my car.

You have to get an attorney to handle these charges and the likely VOP. A judge can just restore you to probation but he can also send you upstate for 4 years so do not take this lightly. Joseph A. The driving while your driving privileges are revoked and without an ignition interlock device when required are both misdemeanors. These are crimes for which you can receive jail time. Additionally they can also be the grounds for violating your probation allowing the court to resentence you on the felony conviction to any legal sentence - this can include prison time (up to four years). I suggest you get an attorney ASAP. S/he will be able to assist in getting the best possible disposition. I would also caution you not to make any admissions (especially online). Anything you say will be used against you if the prosecution gets a hold of it.

You are facing a violation of your felony probation which exposes you to more jail time than the misdemeanors. I would expect the DA to offer you a jail sentence to run concurrent with the VOP, probably in the 6 - 12 months range.
