How can I get approved by LA Sheriff for house arrest?

Bankruptcy and Debt 2 views 3 answers
Recently, I was sentenced to 30 days county jail and recommended to house arrest by metro judge. 1) Is the interview by the probation officer done on phone or in person? 2) If approved, do I purchase the electronic monitoring device before or after I turn myself in. 3) If its approved, how long will I be in custody before being released. I heard 24-48 hours. 4) Where do I turn myself in?

Your lawyer should answer these questions. But in general, felony probation interviews are conducted in person. Your probabtion officer should give you information on how to acquire the monitoring device, payment schedule and report date. You will probably be released within 24 hours.

These are great questions! If you have another appearance in front of the judge, ask the judge to explain this. If you had an attorney, and there are no more court appearances, ask your attorney.

You have to qualify first. Its based on the offense. Call me privately. This is many times done through the back door so to speak. Rather not post it on this board. Brian Michaels 3109919179
