Form I 864 - Affidavit of Support for green card marriage. Joint sponsor

I am about to be married to a US citizen, unfortunately he is still a student and hence has no income. His family members are also unable to help, however I do have a friend who would be willing to be a joint sponsor. The thins is, she has a baby and only earns like 10k annually. She however, has some savings, a car and her parents own their house which is worth about 100k. My question is, would with whatever listed above, would she be eligible to sponsor me ? Thanks a bunch

I agree, it does not sound like she qualifies.

Talk to a lawyer. From what you said, only the parents of your friend appear to qualify. But, are they willing to be on-the-hook for 10 years?

It doesn't look like your friend will be able to sponsor you. However, you can talk to her parents and see if they can help.
