I was given a speeding ticket and no Speed Approx, P.F speed or radar was written on it, should i fight the ticket?

Later on the officer wrote a correction notice and sent it to the wrong address, on the correction notice he wrote down the vehicle speed (42) and the P.F. Max (25) but still did not write down the radar. The distance from when I entered the residential street to where he was posted is about 0.1 miles (is that enough distance to use the radar gun?) also the street that I was turning in from is a 45mph zone. Thanks

Any discrepancies on an issued citations in my opinion must be contested and addressed in a court hearing. Please seek help from a local attorney who practices traffic defense for further legal options.

Every speeding ticket like every other criminal case must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. If the officer has failed to include relevant information that can potentially be used by the court to find that the state did not meet its burden and to allow you defeat the ticket. However, there is no guarantee that this alone will be sufficient to convince a judge to rule for you. It will come down to your credibility versus the officer. However, this missing information definitely gives you more of a chance than the average person in traffic court.

Yes you should fight the ticket- with a traffic ticket attorney. \You always want to keep points off your DMV record for insurance purposes.
