At what time is it possible to discharge from probation?

2 views 2 answers
I've served 4 mounths of my 12 mounth probation period. I have paid off all the fines, take my OVI Driver Intervention Program, and completed my 142 hours of community service with a scorecard given to my PO saying excellent across the board. I am on non-reporting probation, I do not get drug tested, and I do not need to show up at the probation office anything. I am starting school in a month or 2 and I'd like to have probation behind me. Any thoughts?

File a motion with the court to terminate probation.

You or your attorney can file a motion to modify probation and ask to have your probation terminated. It is up to the discretion of the judge though. If you have paid all fines & court costs, completed everything the court asked you to do, etc., you have a good chance of having your probation terminated early.
