Today i got into car accident I was driving on the freeway and my back left tire just poped and i spun out of control. I hit no one but the car is completely totaled. Pedestrians imediatly called the cops and they were on the scene within minutes Luckily no one was hurt, and i miraculously got out of the car with no injuries whats so ever A tow company came and picked up the car and paramedics drove me to the nearest hospital because im a minor Now that my actions have been done, i am wondering what are the legal courses that i will go through and what are the consequences i will face while the cops were questioning me, i panicked and told them i had a license (Stupid) I am wondering the course that will be taken,what consequences will be done,and what is the best course i can take.

The worst thing that can happen is they will file criminal charges against you for driving without a license which is a misdemeanor. They can also file charges for giving false information to a peace officer but I doubt it. The driving without a license is frequently reduced to an infraction.

You'll probably be charged under Vehicle Code 12500. Driving without a license can be filed as either a misdemeanor or an infraction. The prosecutor will make that decision based on the a number of factors. Unfortunately, one of the factors will probably include that fact that you were involved in a serious accident that could have injured or killed you or someone else. Another factor may be your statement to the police. You'll need to speak with an attorney asap. If you're charged with a misdemeanor, you'll be arraigned and you'll be able to request a public defender if you can't afford to hire a private attorney. Good luck to you.
