Transferring my L1B to H1B- Clarification L2 EAD Validity

Kindly clarify my below problem. I am currently working on L1B visa in US. My spouse is working on L2 EAD and she also working here. My L1B is up to 2013 Jan. Also her L2 EAD also valid upto 2013 Jan. Currently my employer is applied for my visa status change from L1B to H1B. 1. When my spouse need to stop working, if my H1B gets approved? Is it at October 1st onwards? Or right after my H1B approval? As my both employer are same can I stay on L1 upto October 1st to help my spouse to work? 2. I am initiating one H1 visa for my spouse also through another consultancy.Lets say if my H1B approves before her H1B approval then is she wants to leave her job and rejoin after her h1 approval? May you please suggest one option how to allow my spouse to work continuously at her current company?
