Is it Possible to apply for EAD renewal with the I797c ?

Below are the dates of my L2 Visa, I-94 & EAD: L2 Visa Expiration Date: 03 April 2012 I-94 Expiration Date: 03 April 2012 EAD expiration date: 12 May 2012 My Wife’s Employer Applied for L1 and L2 Extension, we received I-797c Notice of action with Query. And status is showing now as ‘Request for Evidence’. As you know we have 90 day of time to respond for Query. Is it Possible to apply for EAD renewal in this situation and the I797c is sufficient to apply my EAD renewal?

I would say no because you have no basis for the EAD until approval. At this point, you are not approved.

You can not get an EAD unless you have an approved visa that gives you the right to apply for an EAD.
