If the speeding ticket is considered a serious violation, your CDL may be affected. Typically, a speeding ticket is considered a serious violation if the speed is 15 mph or over. Since you are at 11 mph, it should not affect your CDL or be reported on you or your company's safety record. You could also hire an attorney and ask them to negotiate with the prosecutor. If your attorney can convince the prosecutor to amend to a non-moving violation, it should not count against your CDL. You have to make sure if the laws in Kansas apply to this.
