I have received approx 1/3 of what I had to pay when I had to self procure. I had a P.I. Locate my file in Van Nuys Court Archieves for lifetime medical etc. atty will not ask for court hearing on last 75k owed to me, that could have been paid 1/5/12 if our Dr report from a 3/9/11 appointment had been submitted before court (9 months late). I need the $75,000 & she Will Not reply to calls email etc. I allowed her to take some extra early fees out of award so I will not have to pay full 15% to her but now she won't scheduled at all. Insurance Tristar is County 3rd party administrator. And Corvel corp, who oversees approvals, neither of them care if I go to court or not. 310/967-9677, Clark Davis

If you want to hire a new WC lawyer, then use 's "Find a Lawyer" search function to find another WC lawyer in your area. Before your fire your current lawyer, send her an email sent via registered email www.rPost.com explaning that if you don't hear back from her and get these things addressed, you'll have to fire her and hire someone else.
I agree that you need to get in touch with your attorney. He cannot abandon you. If he won't tke this matter to court to get you reimbursed, you may have to try to find another attorney. That may be tough depending on the status of your case. At the Van Nuys office of the WCAB (the court) they have people on staff to help those who don't have lawyers. They are called Information and Assistance officers. You may want to talk to them.
