I bought a 2008 Xterra that I let me Ex-girlfriend drive. I've asked for her to return the vehicle to me, seeing as she has all the keys to the vehicle, but she will not return it. Can I get the police involved to get my vehicle back or do I have to get a court order? Or is there some other way to get the vehicle back? I owe 25 grand on the vehicle, and I'm afraid she is going to damage the vehicle.

You should report the matter to the police. You may also pursue civil remedies. If you file a civil action, you may be able to use a procedure referred to as claim and delivery to get the car back before trial. You should consult with an attorney in your area if you wish to pursue a civil action.
