How many years does Tenncare go back to place a lien on property?
Dad passed away in 2006, was in nursing home with Tenncare. Mom passed away in 2011 and was not in Nursing home. Will Tencare place a lien on property from 2006?

A major reason why estates go through probate is to create a clear title to property. If the
estates of either your mother or father go through probate to clear title, Tenncare must be notified of the probate proceeding.
