Many cities and justice courts in Maricopa County have diversion programs for minors caught with alcohol. If you are not able to get into a diversion program, there are several evidentiary issues that can be used to challenge breath test readings on a portable breath testing device. A skilled lawyer will be able to guide you through this process so it would probably be in your best interest to contact/retain a lawyer. A conviction for this offense could certainly lead to problems down the road when applying for certain schools, specialty degree programs, or even jobs so this isn't something to take lightly. Your question cannot be answered in a forum like this and without much more detail. You should consult and retain a lawyer directly. She/He will learn all the relevant information and then discuss options and strategies with you. Do not handle the case alone.

Like Mr. Kephart said, diversion programs are often available for these cases. That means you can pay a fine and do a class, and the charges are dismissed. I am a big fan of diversion because it keeps your record clean. But like Mr. Orent said, there are factors involved that may make diversion out of the question, and you may still need an attorney to fight the charges or get a diversion offer. But at least you know there are options available.
