New permanent resident bank account balance over $50,000, will the money be taxed?

I recently got my greencard. After being a permanent resident, will the money in my bank account be taxed or if I need to do something with it if the amount is over certain amount, say, $50,000? I think I will need a speciality in helping me deal with tax or banking issues. I want to see if you have any recommendations? Thanks
