It is much more difficult to expunge a charge where there was a Stay of Adjudication since such a disposition generally requires a plea to the offense. As a result, it is not considered a disposition in your favor means a statutory expungement may be unavailable for the most part. A judicial expungement, one that is in the inherent authority of the court, is certainly possible.

You might be successful in getting records from judicial branch, ie. courts expunged but very difficult to get executive branch records, ie. BCA, expunged. The only way to get a complete expungement is when the case ends in a favorable disposition to the defendant. A favorable disposition does not include any case where the Defendant entered a plea of guilty. In a stay of adjudication, the defendant enters a plea of guilty.
