What are my chances of getting an L1A visa approved in my home country?

I arrived the U.S with B/B2 visa last June 29, 2011, our parent company decided to file an L1A petition before my visa expired last Dec 12th. I stayed in the U.S and waited for the result of the petition. we recently got the i-797B notice of approval that the petition has been approved from May30, 2012 to November 30, 2014 and asked me to go to our home country to get the L1A visa. I am planning to leave U.S in the next few days to get the visa in my home country. Will I be considered out of status from the date my I-94 expires (Dec 28th up to present)? Will I still have a good chance of getting my visa approved at my home country? Please advise. Thank you!

If your L-1A is approved and you have the approval notice, you do not need to leave the country. The approval notice you have is your new visa. If you leave the country, you will be barred from coming back for a period of one year.
