Second DWI offense, first in NY and second in NJ, I a, a NY resident whose NY license is revoked for 90 days. Steps to take?

I had a previous conditional license in NY, took the OASAS classes and had my NY license fully restored, then received a DUI in NJ a year later and paid the fine and court fees but had my license in NY revoked for 90 days with ability to re-apply to Albany DMV. However now Im learning that I have to comply with NJ procedures in order to get my license, needless to say NJ has me on a 730 day suspension, which they say I have to complete in order to get my NY license.. thats 2 years. I have to get to work and my own attorney no longer answers my calls, some helpful advice would be appreciated.
NY and NJ DMV have reciprocity. I assume you live in NY. What does NY DMV say? I suggest you go to your local DMV office. You might also consider retaining a new attorney but I suspect there is little a lawyer can do for you other than help you navigate the system because the rules are the rules.
