return to Iraq but to Kurdistan region (Arbil) which is very safe place and this is to sell some properties I have there. My question: Will my trip to Kudistan (Arbil) be allowed or considered illegal when I want to return back to the U.S so they may refuse my entry. Regards, Safaa Khaleel

They will probably not refuse your entry but will take a closer look at that when you apply for citizenship because that may cause a problem. Consult a lawyer about the specifics of your case. Better safe than sorry.
