Can I write a book after end of lawsuit?

I am becoming an advocate of unfairness/bullying/emotional distress plus more in the workplace. We are losing good people because of 1 person. I filed with EEOC and awaiting the outcome. I would like to write an article or book about this. I learned and am still learning the horrid tactics used by employers. Will this be illegal to do after all is said and done? May I use their name? I also tape recorded 3 meetings. It has become so involved and NUTS! I will not tell them I am thinking about wriring something, but also wonder if I will not be allowed to discuss with anyone after?

I'm going to give you some practical advice, which is probably more valuable than legal advice. Find a publisher before writing the book. The publisher will send the ultimate manuscript to legal before publishing a word and that's where the rubber will hit the road on what gives rise to liability and what does not. To boil it down to a sentence, generally anything factual and truthful is fair game. Intentional misstatements of fact are actionable. Opinions are OK. Yes, you can write a "treatment" and get a publisher before wasting time writing anything. There are many good sources of information in this area, one is the book "Writer's Market". You clicker the category "Emotional Distress", so here's an article on that topic:
