Can a police officer pull you over in your own driveway to issue a failure to keep right traffic ticket?

I was pulled over in my friend's driveway for failure to keep right. This was a one lane road with a median and I was taking a left hand turn into his hidden driveway.

in the driveway is meaningless as he is not pulling you over. If he observed you commit a violation of the Vehicle and Traffic law, he can issue you a citation. If you cut the corner to get into the driveway, sounds like a reasonable ticket in light of the median!

You pulled over yourself and the Officer took the opportunity to issue you the ticket for what he claims was a violation you had already committed. You are permitted to cross double yello lines to turn into a driveway. The issue will become whether you drove to the left of them prior to turning over them.

The officer does not have to pull you over the instant he observes an infraction. It is perfectly legal for him to give you a ticket later as long as he personally observed the traffic infraction.
