I am sorry but I am confused by your summary. Is everyone in your summary still alive? If not, then the survivors are generally in control of this kind of thing. More information is needed, to give you any additional suggestions. James Frederick

First, the grave site is owned by smeone; utually purchased during the lifetime of the person who later died, or purchased by a family member, or family members. That person or those persons also own the headstone and (1) have the rightto remove it or (2) tak action against others who attempt to remove it.; if the owner is the person who died, te cemetary should have a contract or deed showing the current rights to that site. Those are the places to start; without further information, it will be difficut to give you more information.

So, you were never married to your future husband? If so, then I find it difficult to believe you will be able to stop her unless you own the plot, etc., as prior counsel have suggested.
